About me

Avell_NASA.jpg写真 32.jpg
Are we alone? If it's just us, it's a terrible waste of space.

My first astronomical interest was an Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (ETI) when I was a kid. I always had a simple question, "Are we alone?". Research on asteroids, comets and meteors are the best way to know the origin of our solar system, life on Earth and extraterrestrial life. In 1999 at the altitude of 13 km over the Mediterranean, I was flying under Leonid meteor storm by NASA's aircraft. In 2005, I made a landing on the asteroid Itokawa using our spacecraft Hayabusa. In 2008, I arrived at National Central University (NCU) Taiwan to generate new insights of our solar system and new life.

"I love to wonder, and that is the seed of science" is my motto.
